damn .... what about the sensational Pinion MGU System ? A fantastic system and I my opinion a gamechanging technologie, if the childhood deseases (german saying) are properly taged, a killer for derailleur systems like Sram or shimano

The Pinion MGU System was a notable admission in this lineup. It has to be a game changer for the future of EMTB's going forward. Just makes sense and is technology matched for the power output that these bikes now have. Rather than a lame adaptation of existing technology and engineering.

You know who isn't, well not to my knowledge, in the EMTB motor industry? The German giant, ZF. Could you imagine ZF producing an EMTB integrated motor/gear box and partnering with Haibike?

Hope TQ starts releasing some higher power stuff. The HPR50 is incredible with how natural it feels on my Fuel EXe, but definitely on the lower power side.

Thank you for your work on this. Holy smokes there are a lot of choices out there. I'm going to ride my 2019 Giant Trance e+1 on 27.5's and 2.8" Michelins into the ground... Hope there will be a Pinion in the USA by then. I'll pay the exuberant amount, because these eMTB's give me so much happiness (and I'm old). Keep up the good work, get on a Pinion e-powered drivetrain bike soon for a review.

That Gas Gas, is frikken Bad Ass. I wish KTM brought their bikes into the US. Ive never seen one if they do bring them here.


My Spectral ON will do me for a good while, love it. Not that it matters, but some of Canyon's colors and colorways, are just not real aggressive or neat looking. I went for black rather than aqua marine. Black isnt my favorite.
