Sir Gawain and The Green Knight: Episode 1

Disclaimer: I know nothing about Arthurian myths outside of Disney’s Sword in the Stone and the poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. This is a very loose (emphasis on loose) retelling of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. What can I say? Had to read this poem for one of my college courses and immediately fell in love with the story.

The translation I referenced is written by James Winny. For the most part, a majority of the dialogue used in this storyboard is directly lifted from Winny's translation.

Also, I know it says to be continued, but I'm not sure I will. I made this over the span of a couple of months since I was working on Epic: The Musical animatics a majority of the time. This is just a fun passion project of mine.

And sorry for the poor audio quality and sound mixing. I have no idea what I’m doing. :(

Also, I really hope you add the Welsh and Cornish parts of Arthurian myth! Nothing big, maybe just an odd Welsh or Cornish word in. Just a suggestion!

This is beautifully and wonderfully done. I will admit I initially found you through Epic, but you have officially lured me in with your interpretation of Gawain and the Green Knight. I do hope you'll decide to continue, even if posts are only a couple times a year.
I have read some Arthurian legends, but the most notable for this tale is Heather Dale's song. Again looking forward to more awesome art and stories.
