This is how you do an Arthurian movie! So many great Arthurian stories out there and yet all we kept getting in the recent past is "King Arthur, but like, an action hero." It's a dark and weird and beautiful well of myth.

I find it ironic how this was delayed a year, much like Gawain waiting for the Green Knight to return.

This movie is a slow burn focused on a man wrestling not with monsters and demons, but rather himself. This trailer makes it seem much more action packed than it is, so it threw people off. If you take the film as it is, it's very well done.

For everybody claiming "finally an arthurian based movie where Arthur is not the main character", you should know that in Middle English literature Arthur was mostly a background character as well and the main one was usually a knight of the Round Table (Gawain, Lancelot, Perceval and Tristan)

Ralph Ineson's voice is so iconic. It's instantly recognizable even with the effects layered over it.
