stumbling over words is seriously the most fustrating. esp when you know the words you needed to say but suddenly have forgotten those words exist

This is why I prefer writing than speaking. I can take my time to find the correct words to express myself. Much different story when talking.

I never realised that giving away my boots, jewelery, dress off my back, etc, to anyone who said they liked them, was a ADHD thing.
That's another box tucked off.

Narcissists and toxics see us coming a mile away.

Your videos like this were what helped me self diagnose in 2019. My doctor refused to believe me, took a year to get the referral. Another year to get in to see the psychiatrist. Then another year to get vyvanse.

I tagged you in the video the day I started taking it, thanking you and other adhd voices. You were the only one that responded and it meant a lot to me.

My life isn’t perfect, I’m not “fixed” but I understand myself a lot better, historically and present. Vyvanse helped me a lot and your content gives me answers I didn’t know I needed.

So, once again, thank you. 😊

stumbling over words is real! my brain works faster than my mouth and sometimes my mouth tries to match the speed of my brain…

I sometimes struggle with words because my brains works so fast or because I am still trying to decide how to say it. No fun!! But I definitely have all of these!!

The generous and big hearted aspect of our nature is very poignant. We can only do it if we genuinely feel it. So unbeknown to the recipients it's always genuine. Conversely if we're not getting you, you're not getting us and our loving generosity.. We can't fake it.

Friends in my class who are neurodivergent are always so straightforward, and when they are being generous it's really invokes this impressive feeling

“Always apologize for replying late” even tho I’ve been thinking of responding for over 3 days on and off thoughts for 72 hours lol then finally text me. “Sorry what’s up” lol I’m horrible

Big hearted and sensitive, empathic people like us are necessary in the world. I'm trying to view these traits as good, when I've been walked over, thrown under the bus, and used all my life for being "too sensitive, " and a "wet blanket."

Once, I was tring to say "pony express" but I forgot the word 'pony.' Well, next it went to 'horse, ' but I couldn't remember the word 'horse.' So _naturally_ we moved on to Spanish (which I'm taking class for, but not _nearly_ fluent in) and what I said was "caballo thingy."

I had to subscribe because almost everything you say sounds like you know me. I want to be able to go back and read them again at my leisure just to make sure it’s not my imagination.
Another thing I find is that I’m much more literal than most people. I had to do my taxes last week and it drove me crazy because I found that their questions could be interpreted in so many ways.

Mid 50's and still stumbling over my words. Don't mind all the other symptoms, but this one I hate.
