Jefferson and Madison are so happy that Hamilton has been taken down thanks to this pamphlet since they were so sure he wanted to be President in order to make it more like a monarchy...only to realize in 1800 how much they actually needed him in order to win the election. Even more so when the War of 1812 happened, Jefferson and Madison realized Hamilton was right about the importance of the treasury position. But right now in this song, they're so happy with their supposed victory.
