Can You Beat Age of Mythology as an Atheist?

This run was super cool, it had a lot of very exciting scenarios, and you really get to feel the immense might of Gods and Myth units in a way the base game doesn't allow. 10/10

Being an atheist is one thing. This is having concrete evidence of the existence of gods and still choosing to reject them and not worship them cause you don't need them and you can kill whatever beast they thorw at you and beat whatever favor they give your ennemies. That's pretty badass.

I'm 3.5 minutes into the video and I fully expect Grant's next challenge video to be "Can I beat all the furniture in my room by kicking it with just my pinky toes?"

My favorite part of this is that you still use dwarves, meaning everyone else has mythical monsters while you have a higher than average population of folks with dwarfism.

I absolutely love how unreasonable you are with your challenge rules.

Any sane person trying a challenge like this would be less strict. "AOM without gods" sounds like you're saying no myth units or god powers, which would be a fairly difficult but manageable. Maybe some people would go a step further and say "no spending favor", which locks you out of a lot of your kit especially without fortress-tech (which includes the Mythic age upgrade itself in Retold), making a lot of missions very difficult.

Doing all of that, and also saying *_no advancing in Age ever???_* Thats absurd. Who would do that? Who would _think_ that??

But winning without advancing the ages or being able to build fortresses!?
