The setup and swing you need to hit perfect pitch shots

Pitching is by far the most misunderstood area of the game. Too many players treat pitching as a short version of long game, rather than an extension of your short game. Once you understand this, it has a huge effect on how you setup and swing as well as how well you can judge distance from 30-80 yards.

Dan, Not sure you will see this comment but I want to thank you. I've read your book and watched your videos and put in practice and your teaching has transformed my short game. I played my first full round of golf day before yesterday in over 15 years. Never in my life have I ever chipped pitched and gotten out of bunkers as well as I did during that round. Since reading Dan’s book and watching his videos, my practice regime has switched from 80% long game/20% short game to the exact opposite and my scores have never been lower! Broke 80 for the first time ever last New Year’s Eve and did it again a week later! Proof of the pudding!

Hi Dan, so glad I found your videos. I'm a mid handicap player and recovering from a frozen shoulder and I played this week and my pitching was the best it's ever been. My friend was amazed she I was putting 50 yard shots to within 5 feet, one even to a few inches. Even got my first backspin in probably 10 years. I still duffed a few green side chips but your methods are just superb. Thanks for sharing these. Just got to go and sort my long game out, which is atrocious with driver :(
