I was trying to connect to the camera for many times, unsuccessfully . Having problem like you guys. In my case the resolution was pretty easy: Using FIOS service and dialing USER NAME I used to use the only combination of letter and digits. As soon as I inserted I got connected immediately.The resolution is obvious, and i just did stupid things, realized that word Fios- is just a company logo.

First thing change the cheap Power supply that comes with the camera if it does not work make sure the camera is on 2.4G frequency band . hope this will help!

Hi, i have put my wanscam HW0036 (black model) on the 2.4ghz band and still it does not connect or find the camera after configuration.

Not using 5g band, have reset and rebooted plenty of times, downloaded all the correct apps. Still no joy. Just get voice saying "WiFi connect failed" so frustrating

If you are trying to reinitialise the camera, let say after changing wifi, and if you have an sd card inserted try removing it before re-configuring the camera

Absolutely useless! What happens if you only have one wifi network at home and that's the one on the band you're saying not to use? Not everybody has a bunch of different wifi providers available to them!
