Am I the only one having a problem where it does say unable to join, but it works when it says joining world. Like if I’m loading into my friend’s world, it says one of two things. Either “connecting to multiplayer game” or “joining world” or something like that. Whenever it says connecting to multiplayer game, I cannot join. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten the “joining world” message for almost a year now. Also I’m not even sure if it says joining world or something else, it’s been too long for me to remember. Anyway how do I fix this? The worlds never show up as LAN either so playing on the same wifi also doesn’t work.

I’m on mobile. iOS, generation 7 iPad to be exact. My friend has the same device but a generation 8.

Not gonna lie this was a very hopeful video thank you for being very simple I can't believed the still happens today

Go to the network settings test network, verify the NAT TYPE, if you
have TYPE 3 or above(PS4) it wont work, if you enable UPnP on your
router or setup a static persistent nat that that does not translate
the source port it will work. once your update your NAT or enable UPnP
retest and see if the nat type changes type 2 or lower will allow you
to connect to your friends games.

Hey! If you ever read this, can you please make a tutorial to fix or turn off this bug? So the bug is when you craft in MCPE if you click too much when your making oak planks for example it will just craft all your wood into planks, i like it when you click it and it individually crafts it like 4 planks at a time. And you cant turn it off aswell, or at least what i know of. Please tell me any way to fix it or turn it off or make a video about it, cus its been really bugging me when i play minecraft. Thanks❤!

For me the issue has been whenever I'm first getting on someone's world in a day it will work without a hitch. then if i join a second time or if the wifi comes back after lagging me out, even if it's back online it won't work the second attempt or third etc.

the only thing that SOMETIMES helps was if the host person leaves and goes back into their game.

For those who can’t figure out how to fix it, I just did, there something called NAT you have to make sure it’s on or open or whatever language that your router uses, make it open and it should work I was able to make me and my friend join each other after sometime of doing research

My problem is I cannot connect to friends world but my friend can join my world, our minecraft version is same, also we download on online, I try log out and log in, I try use VPN, I try make new account, it doesnt work, why just me have the problem? although my friend play the same minecraft as me

ATTENTION IDK IF THIS WILL WORK FOR U BUT IT WORKED FOR ME: first off when i play at 12 AM i can join anything but after 12 AM i cannot join any game for some reason what u have to do is find a time u can join and when u wanna play minecraft go to settings and go to the time tab and choose ur time that ur minecraft works with (sorry for crappy english i moved out of america to another country so im kinda forgetting english lol) also this might not work for u but it worked for me
