How to set up a new iPad

Apple has unveiled the new iPad for 2018, called (believe it or not) iPad.

Whether you've bought that model or an iPad Pro or mini - or even an older iPad that you've bought secondhand - you'll need to set it up and sign in to your Apple ID - here's how.

Was wishing and thinking this was an in general setup for those who don't have iphones, which in my case would have been more helpful, seeing the screen to screen progression of setup. I recently changed my cell number, so I'm temporarily locked out of itunes until I get this email that's suppose to give me access to my account information and making changes. However in the mean time I was wanting to see if it was going to ask for that 2 step 6 digit pin that would be sent to a mobile device (that of a number I don't have any longer) or if I'll be able to skip over that and it least get into the home screen with my account, until my update of phone number is resolved with Apple.

You have to connect the apple pencil to your IPad.

Questions I’m thinking of getting the new 2018 iPad Pro 9.7”, can you transfer the apps to the new iPad, I don’t want to pay for procreate again, so can you transfer the apps to the new iPad without having to pay for them?
