Followed the exact procedure, looks similar but chips were soft in the middle. The final product totally depends on the type of potatoes whether you wash it or not after peeling.
Earlier I successfully made potato and banana chips very easily.

Thank you for this clip and your wafers show made my day. This show also inspired me to sew dozens of pairs of socks with potatoes all over them. (especially where my big toes are ). I love the socks and I had now sold about 300 pairs. Most importantly by being a 68 year old widow, gives me something to do. My daughter in love said that she loves them. I am now on my journey to make wafer slippers.
