I actually failed 3 tests in a row taught by a feminist who hated married men. After the first one, I asked her what I needed to do to get a better grade because this was a course required for me to graduate. She gave me some instructions and I followed them to the letter. Again I failed the test. So, I went to her again and she said well, you need to be in a study group with students who can help you do better. She didn't know I was already in a study group and the other people in that group all got A's on the test. But, I played the game and I told her the group I would be joining and she kind of smiled, probably because she figured they wouldn't let me join. But I was already in that group and we had studied the same things and they passed and I didn't. So the third time when she knew I was in that study group she failed me again. I had the sense, finally, to go to the dean of the department and discuss it with him. He signed a waiver so I didn't have to pay the exorbitant drop fees to drop that stupid teacher's class and I took the course the following semester and got an A. It was taught by the Dean.
That was back in the 1980s when first wave feminism was starting.

From an early age. We are taught by teachers to do what we are told. By the time university come around most people just want to survive and get their degrees done. I not saying it's wrong but it's understandable

Once the prof demands students purchase the approved text they wrote then corruption is institutional as the school has to approve this.

Sorry but some university proffessors are actually that corrupt 😂
If you've ever gone to a different country their education system basically encourages that

_"Most professors aren't that corrupt"_
While I value optimism, I'm surprised that he's not more aware of how corrupt the educational system is.

University of lynchburg. I did one year there and I kid u not every single teacher was like this to an extreme. That's why I not only said fuck this school but also said fuck college and focused on my dream. Best decision ever

I've had one class where I didn't have a choice but do this in order to pass. I had a professor that taught straight up marxism, literally. It was a social psychology class and Marx was one of the people we studied, not as a historical figure whose ideas had been disproven time and time again, but as you would someone like Carl Jung or Skinner. He taught marxism as a relevant theory that we should base our professional practice around. His classes were also full of moments where he glorified left wing politicians and bashed conservative ones (I live in Latin America). I complained to the administration at every opportunity I got about this professor, but nothing was ever done. I had the displeasure of having to take two different classes with him before I graduated, and as far as I could tell by talking to other students, everyone that wasn't a marxist themselves disliked him.

Lmao! My dutch language teacher didn't like me because I stood against what she believed: the mainstream media. She believed WHATEVER she read in the newspaper as fact. When we had the opportunity to make a presentation (choose any topic) where you show the benefits and wrongs. I choose mainstream media.

Hahah I went big about the wrongs of msm. She hated me after that🤣

That’s most of what I needed to do in college to pass and that’s why I hated it. When I went back I wrote what I wanted and got good grades anyway, so I think he’s correct.

Just for fun, on one of my weekly assignments, I wrote exactly what I thought the lefty prof wanted. My hypothesis was correct. Easy A, from some mindless regurgitated crap. To make it even worse, it was a book that was praised Communist Cuba. Guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Damn.. this is powerful. The ultimate message is be brave and it'll work out the best for you. Not necessarily good, but the best you could do

Hmm... I'm not sure it's true that "most professors aren't that corrupt."

It’s easy to tell someone to stand up to their professor when they are in school mainly to get a degree so they can get a good job

I had a teacher right out fail me in college. I took the same paper and submitted it at university and got an A. So there are that much corrupted teachers.

the advice my father gave me was the key to college is listening to the proffesors vomit out their opinions. your job is to catch it in a cup and give it right back to them

This reminds me of an incident where I had to write what my professor wanted. I had a public speaking professor about a year ago who wanted us to do research on a controversial topic and then give a speech about said topic. She provided a list of options for us to choose from, but we could also use our own topics as long as she approved it. This was around the time that the government was trying to mandate vaccines, so I asked her if I could use this topic, and she refused saying “It’s not a controversial topic because there’s no argument against it.” I wasn’t surprised that she didn’t let me do it but her reasoning was so delusional I couldn’t help but laugh. I don’t think it’s too uncommon for professors to expect you to write something they agree with.

My friends went to college and affirmed that the professors just want you to pander to them.
I never understood why we normalized reaching adults that they need other people to teach them to learn.
That's the opposite of an admirable trait in a worker.

for me modern education was a game where you tell me the answers then we all talk a while, then you ask me the questions.
I left institutional education at 16 when I was told that I was being made useful to industry , I had already seen Fritz Lang's - "Metropolis"
