Wow, I've NEVER heard local govt ask their citizens to write their names/ birthday on their legs so they can identify their dead bodies!! I get why, but still, damn!!

I went through Katrina in southern Louisiana at almost ten years old. My family mobile home was destroyed and we had to restart, but luckily all of us (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc) went to my grandparents home who was built on solid ground and had generators (we were able to keep up with news and keep our food good). Majority of my parish and surrounding were out of power for WEEKS. I’m almost 28 now, wouldn’t wish that on anybody. Sending good vibes to Florida and if you are already stuck where you are, make you choices wisely, as if your life depends on it❤🫡 edit: bring your pets bruh they don’t know what’s happening and are scared!!!

People are taking it lightly, why stay? Puerto Rico got a Cat 4 in 2017, an island use to hurracanes and where their houses are built to resist hurricanes was destroyed, over 4k people died.FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES, EVACUATE .

I've lived in the US southeast for over 30 years. I have never known a hurricane to produce hurricane force winds so far inland to where I am located, over 300 miles from the coast! Truly incredible! Good luck to everyone in this storm's path!

In Tampa at MacDill AFB and we just got a glancing blow from this storm. Many major roads and Interstates flooded. I feel for the people up north that are going to get a direct hit. God be with them. 🙏🇺🇲

I had to fucking evacuate two days ago because I live in the exact path of the hurricane so...I'm currently in Alabama now, me, my family and my pets are all alive and well..I hope god is with you all and may you all be safe🙏
