This 1936 Deutz Tractor has a welded gear housing and winch.
Hand-Arc-Welding with rutil sheathed electrodes (first ever 1931).
At that time still manufactured without foreign exchange workers.

wont find anything with that much man hours in it these days and it looks like you have many hours in cleaning it too.

Built like a tank, so that it last a life time or more. Probably more steel in that tractor than in 50 new ones.
