The biggest issue with the potion of speed is that after 3 rounds, you deal with exhaustion for a short period of time... If you are still in combat... good luck

Wait until your entire party gets hit with exhaustion for a 1 round at the same time, this is a good idea for like 2 players max

This is used alot in hardcore baldurs gate where people do alot of brewing potions so they have stacks of these

Consumables are so ridiculously overpowered in this game that our playthroughs always have a rule: no potions, no throwables

Yes, but when the option ends your whole party has a huge disadvantage on multiple stats so i wouldn't recommend this for long and hard battles. Just use it as a last resort.

Can anyone expalin throwing potions to me? I always seem to "miss" the potion.

And i can NEVER seem to get an aoe effect from throwing potions. It just like... either only hits one person, or jus straigjt up doesnt break or something.

I try to throw the potions on the ground near allies. Am i doing something wrong?

It's a good idea until it wares off and your whole part loses a turn

Press "O" before throwing the potion so you don't fuck it up. If you do fuck it up and miss a party member, don't post it online at least 🤣
