European Parliament has refused to print cancer warnings on wine bottles. MEPs have called the health warning 'senseless', and have refused to inform consumers about the link between cancer and wine drinking. Palki Sharma tells you why lawmakers are hiding critical information.

These lawmakers who are calling the cancer label 'senseless ' are displaying the same attitude cigarette companies have when it comes to the customer's health.
Well, at least I learned something new today: drinking wine can cause cancer.😮 Funny thing is, there was a small part of me that wanted to try out wine one day. (I'm 33) But after this news report, I definitely changed my mind!😕

So many wine drinkers live a long life and free from cancer and so many non drinkers suffer from cancer. It shown that cancer don't pick their victims. All can get cancer no matter what you drink or not.

There is stigma in the West or at least Europe that a glass of wine will help extend your life expectancy and smoking will help you lose weight.

Wine is the least of Europe's concern as beer and vodka consumption are causing more damage than wine alone, because more Europeans drink beer and vodka daily than wine.

During lockdown the first thing opened up was the liquor shops in Maharashtra. The government was loosing taxes over it.

I believe you are mistaken on your comment about wine. It’s not the wine that is the problem. The problem comes in with working the grapes off. If you use the chemicals to work it off faster that’s the problem that, is the cancer agent. Many years ago Europe got caught putting water glycol in their wine. So much for ATF.All good things should be in moderation. Even too much water will give you water poisoning.
