I had floaters and went to two different doctors who both told me it was nothing and then later that week I went blind in that eye from a major retinal tear and detachment. If they're bad enough to bother you don't take "don't worry about it" for an answer.

I have eye floaters that are really bothering me. Not s ton, just a few, but I didn't notice them until recently and I started worrying. I'm glad to know they're common and when to worry

For me, it is whenever I first see floaters(if I ever do). My eyesight is very bad and I even started getting bad double vision a few years ago. Doctors are not sure why. So I have a pretty high risk of a detachment....

I cured my floaters 100 percentage using following way in 4 months ---

Most important - 3 big slices of pineapple 2times a day for 2 month then 1 slice for 1 time to avoid any side effects of pineapple overeating --

1. Drink lots of water
2. Drink 1 glass of water before sleep & in between sleep if you awake drink water
3. Sleep for 9+ hours 1/2 + hour afternoon & sleep without pillow
4. Keep eyes always hydrated (not dry) use water to wash eye (6/7 times a day) to hydrate
5. Fasting (no food) one day per week.. fruit+water allowed
6. Don't squeeze or use fingers or any eye related exercise.. just keep natural eye movement. Should not give any stress on eye.. also don't cough heavily to avoid eye pressure
7. Avoid tv/mobile/laptop as much possible
8. Add fruit in dailt - I eat 5 fruit everyday
9. Run for 15 minutes everyday
10. Take 1 spoon of ghee everyday
11. Start Ayurvedic Treatment (mostly specialist in eye)
12. Sleep on face down posture for 1/2 hours every day

My eyesight is perfect but I’ve had floaters since I was maybe a preteen. Some are clear, some are gray, and some are black. I have maybe 20+ in each eye. I mainly only notice them when looking at a blank wall or a clear blue sky. But there’s this one black one in my right eye that is so thick and dark that I see it constantly. Even when I close my eyes.
Sometimes when I’m bored I’ll “play” with it. Like trying to make it purposely move in a certain direction or certain patterns. I’m sure I look like an idiot to everyone when I randomly move my eyes around.

I have floaters myself. Recently I just turned 18 and I see new spots in my eye that I haven't seen before. I went to the optometrist and he confirmed that my eyes are okay but then two weeks later I'm seeing flashes in my peripheral vision! This is really frustrating me

This is really minimizing the stress and anxiety that people who suffer with floaters endure.
I was diagnosed with OCD at 14 yrs old and I'm now 37, and I've had floaters since I was 22. How do you think this affects me? Every time I look at a blue sky or even a white PC monitor or a well lit room with white walls I see spider like, semi-transparent shapes, move across my field of vision.
