Any salesmen that does this I immediately walk out. I dont typically go through this because I already know what I want and at what value and payment I want. I remove as much power from the sales team as possible.

These tactics are for those that don't quite know what they want or what they can afford so they allow the sales team to take that power and eventually screw them.

I've see that technique used by my leader in Insurance company we work with and well he managed to close so many deal and that's make me jaw dropping.. Soon I'm gonna apply this skills & technique but refine it 😊

I walked out on dealer who spoke to me like this at this stage. The manager and the salesman. The tone and energy doesn't say "We want to help you" it says "We are here to help ourselves". I like what this guy says about outside stuff, life...getting after it. It's obvious they need to make a living. But when you are aggressive like this, it forces unsure buyers into defensive mode, we assume they are trying to get one over on you or corner you. I certainly don't like feeling cornered.

I recently got closed. I didn’t need a new car. But I had expressed interest in trading my existing car in. The sales person who I was dealing with was the sales manager and her and my wife knew each other so it was personal but the sales manager was VERY aggressive and I could tell she REALLY wanted the sale. Like I said, I didn’t need to do the transaction that day but I gave in. I didn’t have the mental energy to go back and forth with all the sales crap I was being given. I signed the contract because I just wanted to get it over and done with and I respected the persistence and hustle of the sales manager. Did I save a lot of money on the new contract? lol not really. The new car had some new features on it which was cool but I realized that day how much I don’t like the pressure of sales. 70% of it is genuine. 30% of it is sales bullcrap.
