Thank you so much! The Video Repair Software didn’t work because my file is .MXF but merging the files did then I was able to convert it using MXF Converter... life saver!!!

This worked. I should note that one can use a "reference file" that is non-corrupted from the same device, so the program, "understands" and has instructions on how to fix the damage file. For example, a corrupted drone footage file from a crash. Just use a different playable working file from the same device as a reference.

My combined file is 12gb.. doesnt work. The mp4repair page showed pictures of the video, so I dont see why it wouldnt work? ;s

Unbelievable. Been looking for a solution for this for 3 days, as my drone crashed into a building and then feel on concrete and I didn't see how that happened. Of course the gopro absolutely got ruined as well as my SOLO 3DR. Video got corrupted and I just managed to fix it!!

ive got a problem. when i scan the file and then open it (the repaired one), it's only 1 second long.

I have the same problem where it couldn't open the gs file. So I opened the mac_start.command with Terminal as suggested but I get a line that says line 5: /gs.app/Contents/MacOS/gs: No such file or directory"
What should I do next?

I have a Mac OS 10.15 but it seems the gs application is for Mac OS 11.3 or higher. do you know where I can download a previous version of videorepair?

The first option reccovered 5 mins out of an hour of footage. My Mac rejected opening the gs file in the second option because it can't check it for malicious software. This probably mostly works for shorter files on newer macs, mine's 2017. Good video overall still helpful for most people.

Hi, i need some help when i do the terminal stuff, my new video is smaller. the original video is 2.35gb and the v3 is 5, 4 mb, whats am i doing wrong? i am following all steps. Maybe is because i dont have quicktime 7? thanks

It worked good, but the video is very choppy and imovie, FCP or Davinci dont recognise it. The most interesting is that when I try to "repair" a good file, it also comes out choppy and unreadable. Any idea which settings I should try to change?

It only recovers the audio of my file. I have checked with several softwares to make sure that the images can also be recovered. Do you know why this could be?
