From our 6th Season of Paramount Television’s hit TV series, “SOLID GOLD“: enjoy our host, Dionne Warwick, singing the Aretha Franklin hit, “Who’s Zoomin’ Who”. This recording was arranged & produced by myself (Solid Gold's musical director and theme composer, Michael Miller - aka "Mickle").

Not many folks think Dionne can do songs like this. Since a lot of her music was more "softer toned" Burt Bacharach melodies. But here's proof this woman can LET LOOSE when she needs to. Being a singer myself i think Dionne pulled this off VERY WELL indeed.

That was a wonderful performance. At that time, 1986, nobody had any idea what "zoom" would come to be associated with, as in Zoom video conferencing. So many are zoomin in that way in these strange times.

As for this song, as usual, Michael Miller helped to showcase the vocal versatility of Dionne Warwick in singing then-contemporary songs on the "Solid Gold" show.
