Funnily enough, I took my driving test in a Corolla.

Nissan being /the/ JDM legend is true though. It's really telling that a lot of Japanese manufacturers went in too deep during the bubble economy, but Nissan was like the only one that actually almost died from it - it's because they were building about half of all JDM wet dream material to ever be released.
