I presented this as dating advice for women, but the same rule applies for men. We have to be honest about the red flags we see, address them, and if they are not corrected, then you have to let him go.

Wow, this really hit me. I’ve always left it up to the guy decide/make up his mind, fooling myself that we were just going with the flow. I’ve learnt the hard way you have to a) know what you want b) state what you want early on c) be willing and ready to walk away and stay away if they are looking for something else.

Amen!!! Time starts to matter when the uncertainty of having it is realized. I created specific rules in order to optimize my time. My health was the reason I realized just how valuable mine was. And having been a person that felt her time was stolen by being fed fiction, and my faith in God that it would all turn out the way it should so long as I did not get mine at the expense of anyone else. That wasn't a new rule. It actually was the rule I've held to my entire life as far back as I can remember. And ultimately it's saved my life. After 46 years of narcissistic abuse knowing this is how I treated others, and that it was a principal I carried and believed with solidarity. Cuz believe me there was nothing and no one left else to cling to. It was just me and God and I physically up and move to keep it that way for a while. I've since unraveled the threads, and feel confident my past will never repeat itself. God absolutely turned what was meant for my harm around for my good. can I put a purpose in my heart when I was a child that he's then preparing me and teaching me training me to do. However I am still alone and that 49 technically challenged is an understatement. I don't like excuses and I'm not one to make them. But I am learning to respect my weaknesses and be okay with them and let God do exactly what he says he will do as he has done over and over for me in my life. it's been 3 years and I'm still alone. I would love to join a community to use my gifts and enjoying someone that is text Abby and are already established. I'm looking for my community. And I agree with your teachings I would love the chance to talk some more about what I feel I have to offer.

Sum people are very good at the "game" of making u feel like ur different then the rest, that the connection with u is different, even if u know they are talkin to other woman....thats the key to keep making u come back....eventhough u know their is other woman, they make u believe that ur more then all those woman, and have u thinkin that one day it will just be how they keep u going all those months that eventually turn into years...that small glimmer of hope that in the end they will choose
