Occasionally I've thought a pole pruner would be really handy. When you're reducing a hedge there are often a few thick branches that are hard to reach. I didn't want to buy the Stihl version because I wasn't sure how much I would use it. The genuine one is £185 and this one is less than £70 including delivery.

After hearing from some other gardeners that their genuine Stihl ones leak oil I thought it would be worth giving this one a try!

Professional gardeners want tools that will stand the test of time and put up with some abuse. This hasn't had to do that yet but it made the job I just did of reducing the top of a conifer hedge a lot easier!
