In this video former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic opens up on how he really feels about what ended up happening to his friend Kurt Cobain. I talk about how Kurt & Krist met and how their friendship begun going way back to their high school days. Krist also mentions Foo Fighters & if Nirvana would still be around today. I commentate and give my opinion on what 'could have been' for example a possible Cobain solo album.

I hate that everytime that Krist gets interviewed, it's always about Kurt's death, please stop touching the scar man 😐

Krist is brutally honest: “Kurt shouldn’t have done that”. Wow. I’m bowled over by the honesty.

This should be called “3 sentences from Krist and a ton of opinion from the goof who made this!”

Poor Krist. He's gotta be tired of hearing about his best friend's tragic death:(

"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not" - Kurt Cobain

Brings tears to my eyes. He clearly loved Kurt and it seems his fun loving goofy spirit died with Kurt. So sad.

“He should have never done that…”
Yes. Marrying Courtney was a huge mistake.

Dave Grohl said his only wish was that Kurt was still alive.

It hilarious that when asked about the future of Nirvana, Krist says “I don’t know ....maybe we would have at foo then continues to praise FF. It was just phrased funny

Krist seems like a sweet person to me and accessible. I say this because I met him a couple times back in the day when I would go out in Seattle. One time my friends and I recognized him and he stopped at our table, shook our hands and talked to us a little bit.

As a young kid (about 13) when teen spirit went GLOBAL, I'll never forget Kurt Cobain saying how he felt uncomfortable that the song was being blaied out of people "driving around in BMW's" and it depressed him as this was (obvisly) Not what Nirvana were all about, As a young kid those words resonated massively with me. Kurt Cobain. The ultimate example of just a simple man, that loved to make music & rock, but deeply uncomfortable with the corporate side of the business.

R.I.P Kurt - never forgotten.

“He was out of his mind on heroine” pretty much sums it up. People aren’t themselves on hard drugs or heavy drinking. They become an awful, cartoon version of themselves.

Kurt and I are the same age so I vividly remember the day that he died. I was working as a TV production assistant and heard about it during the day. It was obviously devastating. Nirvana is probably the last band I ever got into

I didn't know much about Nirvana when I saw them at this tiny basement venue in Pennsylvania in 1990 (all of about 50 people showed up.) But in hindsight, I do remember Kurt looking more relaxed and happy than I ever saw him in the years after they hit it big. I think success really messed with his head.

Some people find it difficult to deal with success, especially when it involves stardom -- all the changes and expectations and demands and the constant spotlight. I'm not saying it's what led to his death but I think it made it a lot harder for him to deal with the depression and drugs and everything else he was struggling with.

I've always had a theory that had Kurt lived he would've broken up the band and then put out a largely acoustic solo album. I don't know why I think that but I do.

Kurt was already thinking about doing some acoustic solo projects.

Heroin is a DESTROYER. It is soooo unfortunate that talented people like Kurt see no other way out... there is always always a way out. Never give up

That was honesty in its most brutal form, I can’t believe he said, “he shouldn’t have done that”! Deep…
