Waves Multirack Reverb & Delay Trick for M32 & X32 Consoles

In this video, I discuss how I'm currently routing stereo reverb and stereo delay from Waves Multirack to our M32 consoles Aux channels so I can get rich fx from Waves without having to sacrifice any of our 32 channels in the console.

Hi Scott, I’m following everything exactly like in the video, but I’m not getting any signal on the AUX channels. AUX outputs 1, 2, 3, and 4 are assigned to Bus 7. In the Card Out section, block 1–8 is set to “Aux 1–6/Mon.” Waves SuperRack Performer is receiving signal — inputs 1–2 are for reverb, and 3–4 are for delay — and I can see signal inside SuperRack. However, there’s no signal coming out of AUX 1–2 and 3–4 on the mixer. I’m using a Midas M32R Live with a DL32 stage box. Thank you

I’m thinking because you’re using time based effects like reverb and delay that the few milliseconds of latency is negligible .. have you tried using something like dynamics and compensating by delaying the input on the channel ?

Hey man, I'm currently trying to do this exact setup with an X32+soundgrid card and the new super rack which seems to have replaced multi rack and works very similarly. However Im finding when I patch the same way you are I'm encountering some really crazy phasing on the return of the effect when it sends to the L/R. Have you encountered that or have a possible fix?
