Thank you. This helps. I wish it got me back to where it used to be. I'm sorry they removed that feature that let you hover over it to add, or maybe it was clicking the date in the message. Much easier when we didn't have to change the date and time for ourselves.

can we have this tutorial for mobile? Through gmail app. I see an ticketed event from my email and google extracts key information from the email like time, place and event name this happens for flights too. But it doesn’t consistently add it to my calendar. How would I add it from mobile to calendar

You might not be aware that if you use the vertical separation on your in-box, you cannot use the first method you show in this video. You can do it if you don't use the vertical separation

Thank you so much, I hadn't realized the slight differences between using the Gmail Calendar Icon vs the "Create Event" option!!! I'll be using the Icon from now on!

Thanks for this video. Can you do a video on how to automate this process. Lets say I get an email (Gmail) every month from the same email address? I'd like for that email to automatically be added to Google Calendar on the date that's in the email.

I find that Reminders are more useful than Tasks as it does not disappear even if you failed to do it on the specified date and timing. Is there a way to add Reminders directly from Gmail? Thanks!
