My Truth About PC Gaming VS Console Gaming | Lets Discuss

My opinion on being a PC gamer VS console gamer in a vlog style video to open up discussion, this video will lead to future videos to bring up talking points around things I did discuss within this title.

I love the way you talk man! Absolutely! How you try to bring your perspective, whilst also understanding some of the aspects of how things are being sold to people and their possible interpretation.

But I have to say.... Some of us are Console Gamers just because we like to be. I'm 32. I dabbled In PC Gaming In 2008-2011

But at the heart of a lot of things is my love for Technology.

So I was one of many Xbox Gamers and PS Gamers who knew of NVMe and other various buz words.... Hell just because I wanted too, and I know I would never by any means get the full speed of it... But I bought a Samsung 970 Evo Plus for my Series X just to house my Arcade Games/ Fighting Games... And ya... It actually did provide a launch speed increase and Input delay decrease on the controls compared to the Sabrent NVMe drive I was using.

If I could say any real solid point.... It would be for Console Only gamers to pull their heads out of their asses and start self educating on Technology, Especially the stuff they use everyday.

This console Generation is absolutely self evident of this notion... And I'm grateful to have been alive early enough in the 90s to have been given that thirst for Technology enough to casually just spend my time self educating on stuff.

Looking forward to that video brotha. I'm one that has been a console gamer all my life. My first system was the Super Nintendo. I've always been an Xbox person. I own an Xbox One X Scorpio edition. Crazy thing is last year was gonna be the first time I made the switch to PC gaming. I had an Alienware Aurora R10 with a 3080 and a Ryzen 9 5900x cpu. I never got to play it before I sold it. I'm definitely gonna make the switch especially for the fact that the 4000 series are said to be coming out this year.

You're absolutely right though. Every console has made me said that I could've kept the last generation console. I also get the pro series of each console as well. I guess being a Madden guy in the past was also more beneficial for me to get a console. I hear that Madden is worse on PC than it is on console. My buddy has a XSX and to be honest, besides the load times, I don't see where I'm missing out with my Xbox One X.

Sidenote: those tangerines in the background were distracting me a little. Lol!!! Those things look like they are nice and sweet. Lol!!! I'm gonna pick me up some today from either Whole Foods or Publix.

Is a console good enough, yes, without question. However, after switching to PC the only regret is not doing it sooner.

Good reasoning, we have a PS5, Xbox, and we love them, yet most of the games that we play are PS4 and even PS3 games, some PCs. It's all about preference.

I have a series x and ps5 and have been thinking about building a pc. Looks like alot of fun building them and I like tinkering with tech. I'm pretty happy with my series x tho I think it performs pretty well for what you pay. I dunno what to do. I can afford to build a nice pc but do I really need one probably not. I really don't use my ps5 because I have an elite series 2 for my xbox and I just love that controller. Dualsense is nice but once you go paddles it's hard to go back. Maybe build a pc and sell them both because I don't really see a reason for having a console if u have a good pc. Tough decision. Consoles are just easy and lazy I guess. Like your video tho u make some good points.

I been gaming on a pc since the early 2000s which was rough. Driver issues, lack of Controller support, etc.. However, today pc gaming is very robust. I built a gaming PC that I have connected to my lg C1 with a wireless keyboard mouse combo unit and Xbox one controller. And it’s pretty much like ps5 and Xbox series x but with max out graphics and high frame rate. If you can afford it, pc gaming is the way to go.

If you are a fighting game player then there's no need to upgrade but for God of War, Spider-man, Demon Souls and games like that you will see a difference.

For me it’s just uncapped framerate and options to tweak things to your liking. Nothing like sitting on the couch with a controller enjoying a console game though!

Totally agree on what you said! Console Gaming right now is quite good. I myself have a Playstation and a LG CX. The combination of Next-Gen Console and Oled is awesome! As a tech-enthusiast i‘m interested in PC gaming as it has even better graphics and is more customizable. And the gap between PCs and Consoles will grow again when the next gen of graphics cards will launch. But Console gaming definetely is enough. As im more a tech fan and not a hardcore gamer right now my PS5 is enough right now. Till i have the money for a house the combination of a MacBook Pro (i am kind of an apple fanboy) for productivity and PS5 for gaming is for me the way to go. ☺️

What i like from pc is the "freedom" and mods and more good prices buuuut
I work 9 hours a day in front of a pc and usually im tired of playing in the same position of work

Every time I mention that I play on pc most people think im rich af especially console players. But matter fact its the opposite investing in a pc is just worth it you can do so much rather than just gaming. Multitasking takes the cake tho you can literally watch videos, surf the web, on video call with your mom while playing games like.... just switch

If you just want yo play games. Figure out which ones you want to play, and just buy the console that is best for you. If your trying to do something more, like game and other stuff that requires a PC, then go for it. But if it's just about gaming as a hobby, stick with a console.
