“It slices! It dices! It survives being dropped multiple times! Don’t ask who performed that entirely intentional test!”

Linus: "With over 2000 knits, it's been lighting this room on its own entirely. No studio lights used! Did you mistake it for the sun? No, it's just ARK!"

Is it me or did Linus say "local dipping" instead of "local dimming".

Did you test every HDMI port that it is up to the Original HDMI 2.1 spec? And not just HDMI 2.0 rebranded as HDMI 2.1a?

I was invited to see the very first Dolby Vision one-off test sample LCD display at Dolby's lab 'way back when. That remains a treasured memory; it was a truly mind-blowing experience. The display required a dedicated circuit, was liquid-cooled, and each pixel was independently back-lit (no zones for this panel!) and each pixel was capable of 2000 nits. Some demo scenes, like one of a welder, were literally almost blinding. Still the most impressive FPD I've ever seen.

If it’s the same “2000 nits” as their other mini led monitors than it’s actually about 1000 nits .

Also can we talk about how sweet the external box is? For cable management this would be awesome on any monitor.
