I made Petes outfit for this show. Stretch purple sequin trousers, all seams had to be bound on the inside otherwise would have been very scratchy to wear. The stretch satin top was made like a swimsuit to keep it tight, on reflection I should have made it tighter. Love this look, love Pete.

It's kinda of sad, I wonder if Pete really knew how amazing he was and how beautiful as well. Incredible voice, huge stage presence, and so unique in style. This is truly what the 80's was, and he owned it. Such lost talent, miss you Pete. Thanks for the gift of music you were such a huge part of my life, dance clubs will never be the same!

Oh, my! What would the 80s have been like without Pete Burns? There would have been a lot less dancing and a bunch more uptight people, for sure. I worked at The Bonham Exchange nightclub in San Antonio during the 80s, the DJ, Nathan, was my roommate and I bartended in the Bowie bar underneath his booth right off the dance floor. Anytime he played You Spin Me Round it was the signal for all the bartenders to meet up on the dancefloor before heading off for refreshments... the kind we didn't serve at the bar! Great memories, good times, RIP Pete, you really did get us spun.

I was privileged to see you live in Puerto Rico during the album Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know.
My life was also changed ever since I saw Pete on 📺 t.v.for first time.When I saw Peter for first time i say to myself I want to be him but it wasnt me wanting to be Pete as much as his direct message to me telling i can be who i want to be not turn into what others want me to be or follow trends abd blend in. Stick out!.
So to be that clear in life and be passionate about it, takes a lot of courage and because of Pete's courage in telling the world this is who I am and I don't care what anyone thinks I found support to develop the courage myself to be myself and never ever belittle my person by explaining myself to nobody.

Oh my Dear Sweet Pete! I knew he was an amazing singer, but his dancing is sublime as well. Pete did everything on his own terms. This is one of the greatest performances I have ever seen.
