EDIT: Slight typo at 5:20 it should be +3/6 not -, however doesn't affect the method.
Welcome everyone to another fan favourite voted Wednesday and you guys voted for solving harder trig equations using double angle and compound angle identities!

Today we dissect the process to solving harder trig equations, but I will be assuming you know how to solve basic trig equations hence will be only reducing the equations to basic form to save time. I will make another tutorial on solving trig equations for the basic ones if you need it!

When solving harder trig equations using double angle identities it is straightforward for sin and tan as there is only one option, but cos has 3 double angle options so is a little triggy!

Solving trig equations using compound angle identities is fairly straightforward as there is only one formula for each expansion.

So the key to solving trig equations is to first know your identities! Then follow the flow chart presented in the video!

Gotta say man your videos are improving. The music was a great touch but maybe for next video, you should lower the volume just a tad bit (because at some points I was concentrating on the music rather than concentrating on you). Just my opinion, though. nevertheless, this is good stuff!
