Yup dinosaurs with feathers and lips are much more terrifying than movie monsters, and some think it does not work on dinosaurs imagine being stalked by a sub adult tyrannosaurus and slowly creeping towards you and it grins when it gets closer, or the earines of a utahraptor staring at your soul ready to pounce and that diabloceratops just gave me nightmares now.

1: creature in the night- an animation about a man with a flare coming across a feeding deinonychus.

2:an allosaurus, staring.

3: a yutyrannus getting protective over a rotten carcass.

4: ceratopsians were likely omnivores, if not supplementing their diet with meat.

5: a tyrannosaurus staring in the rain. You are no longer safe.

6: two allosaurus fighting, either over a kill, for territory, or to cannibalize.

7: an iguanodont of some sort- perhaps a lurdusaurus or tenontosaurus- supplementing it’s diet.

8: an amargasaur I forgot the name of (rajasaurus?) after a fight. (Hold up send me the name in replies)

9: a scarred daspletosaurus.

10: a diabloceratops during a blood moon. They were named this for a reason.

11: two gorgosaurus fight for dominance.

12: deinonychus hunting at night.

13: spinofaarus staring at you.

I love paleo-accurate and inaccurate dinosaurs. They are all dinosaurs to me and I love them all.
It’s true that inaccurate dinosaurs have gotten less scary over the years despite having toothier and shaper claw designs, but the horror part of them has been pushed aside by the writers just to make more merchandise and tell a different story.
Whether the dinosaur is accurate, inaccurate, it can still be scary, what it may really need is the right lighting, colours, look, and theme.
