a tyrannosaurus' call was so deep you couldn't hear it, but could definitely feel it.

a large ambush predator - let's take tyrannosaurus again for example - never roared at its prey. in reality, they would sneak closer and closer, and the last thing the prey could hear was the sudden, loud crashing of vegetation seconds before death.

most dromaeosaurs' (aka the raptors) preferred way of hunting is RPR, or "raptor prey restraint". this means they would latch onto their prey, digging their famous sickle claws deep in while tearing with their 'wing-claws' and teeth.

gentle giants, you say? a triceratops - along with most other ceratopsians - was most likely omnivorous, thanks to recent studies. oh, and many herbivores are more aggressive than carnivores, even today!

there is speculation over mimicry in some small-medium theropods, and if it's true: maybe don't trust every noise in a prehistoric soundscape.
