Export a Physical Drive to Use With a Hyper-V Virtual Machine

If you need to convert a physical hard drive to a virtual hard drive (.vhdx) to use with a Hyper-V virtual machine then you can do so using the Disk2VHD tool from Sysinternals. Once you convert your drive you can then attach it to your VM and use it as locally attached storage.

Is it possible to image a system drive to use as a VM i.e. a bootable drive meaning also to convert to a VM drive?
