How to make PUMPKIN dog treats! *Low-Fat & Healthy*

*~*~*~ EXPAND ME FOR THE COMPLETE RECIPE!! *~*~*~*
*Makes approximately 100 mini dog treats!
Recipe:
- 2 1/2 cups flour (whole wheat or all-purpose)
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed (or whole wheat germ)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 medium size banana
- 1 cup 100% pure pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
**Bake at 350 degree F, for 40-45 minutes
Baking Information:
- These treats are versatile--you can bake them for less amount of time if you want soft treats
- 40-45 minute baking time will result in a crunchy cookie
Cooling & Storing Information:
- Let the treats cool for about TWO HOURS before storing in a container (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Store in an airtight container. This should last for a minimum of TWO weeks (the cinnamon is a natural preservative)
- **If you decide to make SOFT cookies, they won't last as long--about 1 week (more moisture=more perishable)
