On April 15, 2016, a Griffin police officer Matthew Boynton’s wife Jessica Boynton was shot with two bullet wounds in her head. However she does not die and when she wakes up from a coma, she blames her husband. Then, why does he face the interrogation for false testimony and not murder?

Then he arrives at home, hears two shots being fired, WITH HIS KIDS STILL INSIDE, and decides to wait outside till police arrives? Which father would wait outside if their kids were being shot, or their wife? Such baloney!

OMG, I was married to a cop who was a lot like this man. Fortunately, he didn't take things quite as far. But the gaslighting, the reputation smearing, and the lack of understanding basic morals and ethics was really surprising to me. I was threatened but I left him anyway and moved to another state. He stayed a state trooper and carried on the same way. He is currently on wife number 3. Obviously I don't look at cops the same way anymore.

Am I missing something? This entire interrogation was about the fact that he lied about having a bag of her things. What about the interrogation surrounding the circumstances of her being shot twice? Is there another video I'm missing?

His 911 call had me seeing red flags. How this man was able to get away with attempted murder AND get employment at another police department is beyond my understanding. He should be behind bars serving time but instead he is driving around with weapons and getting paid by the taxpayers. Smdh!
