What can police do and say when they're interrogating a suspect and trying to get a confession?

I wouldn't be surprised if some places keep you in a cold interrogation room without letting you leave to use the bathroom to encourage you to confess. They're not twisting limbs or making you sit on spikes, but it's a primal urge to pee when the bladder gets full and the worse it gets the more likely you are to do anything they want.
