‘You have the right to remain silent’, for a reason!

Aside from lawyering up, he should have answered them with “you can’t tell me what somebody else told you, that’s hearsay.”

That cop says textbook investigator stuff like he’s fresh from school..

Just remember the police have no obligation to tell you the truth during an interrogation. Have a lawyer present.

Never take a polygraph, they're just to scare you into confessing. They don't tell you if your lying or not, even the creator if the polygraph machine said that's not what its for. Say no and get a lawyer, because guilty or not if they ask you to take one they think you may have done it

I don't understand all of this, "Don't take a polygraph..." Seems like his mistake was shooting him...

This feels like his "four friends" maybe framed him, afterall 24 years is a long time to match your stories and details to frame someone hmmm

When they talked about his family's luggage rack that he used to transport Tim's body, he had a nervous laugh. I don't think he expected them to know about that.

This cop is how false confessions happen. I think this guy is guilty but that cops behaviour is just too much. Lawyer up people

Polygraphs are unrelaible, even the creator of them admitted it 😬

Another example of manipulative interviewing by an experienced professional police officer vs a normal person. Lesson learned is never agree to speak to the police without a lawyer present.

Always get a lawyer and keep your mouth shut!

You probably shouldn't include your friends if you're gonna do something like that

I wonder if he really did fail the polygraph. I have friends in law enforcement and they say they always tell the suspect he or she failed the polygraph, whether or not it's true. Never agree to a polygraph and never talk without a lawyer present, and always remember that it's legal for LOs to lie to suspects during questioning.

This detective is probably amongst the worst I’ve seen. Horrid body language, horrendous rapport. I wouldn’t want to cooperate either if this was how I was approached

Why doesn't this guy just shut his mouth and get a lawyer?

why kill him and how do you manage to get away with a ballistic kill for so long.
