The median household income means nothing there. They don't have "income" in the same way everyone else does. It's capital gains / investments / business operations / etc. So that $234k is deceptively low. No one can afford a $7 million house with a $234k salary.

Median Household income LOL. Many CEOs and Sole Proprietors take no income from their businesses, small dividend and capital gains income only sporadically and otherwise have very modest ‘AGI’.

Even with a conservative $1.7M home on Mockingbird, you’re talking $30k in annual property taxes, and if they have a conventional mortgage at 2.75% the P&I is 4k /mo. So you’re all in over $8k month just for your house. That alone would require a gross income over $200k to feed yourself, utilities and basics of life.

So, if Median is the point at which precisely half the people make more and 1/2 the people make less; that means 1/2 the residents of HP have an “income” at or below $234k… (cough) bullsh** ..

Sorry but SOUTHLAKE, TX has a median income of $250K per year!!! It is the MOST EXPENSIVE in NORTH TEXAS!!!
