You are so right about the GB2. It’s not one that stood out me much in photos, but in person, it’s phenomenal.

Like every one of their Taiwan-factory models, it’s super-high-quality, and that sculpted blade is just a pure cutting machine. Really digging the look of it, too; it’s a genuinely handsome knife.

1. Para3 (I carried it for 6 years straight, only rotating in a Kershaw Blur when the PM3 needed sharpening). The only maintenance ever was alcohol, air, and oil at the pivot, and every 2 years I'd mineral oil the fading g10 scales).

You lost me when you dissed my beloved Sage 5. 😂 Those are some great Spydies, brother. I need to try the GB2 and the Techno 2 at some point when I can catch them in-stock at Spyderco. You ever had a Lil Native in hand? If not, I can send my s90v model up for you to try. It's small but mighty and has great ergos (for me). You just have to promise not to let your Electrician or plumber touch it. 🤣 Stay well up there, T.

There are a few I really want but currently the only spyderco I've got is a manix lightweight with maxemet. Tip is pretty much gone thanks to a bad sharpening job that taught me to just sharpen my own knives instead of paying someone else to do it. Lol.

Where do I start? First you don't like the native chief, then not much love for the manix2, then you love the green(Go Army) GB2 which was a great choice and just to add to the love you're getting a green (showing that Army love) pocket clip to go with it. Its a good thing an Army guy didn't suggest the clip or your inner navy dude(blue demon) would have shown up 😉.
My top 5 would be

Awesome selection to choose from. I really like the Sage 1 and the Native 5. So my next Spyderco is going to be the Sage 5. 🤣🍻

Have to agree 100% on the GB2, it was my grail knife for a long time, l now have one lol.
Had the dremel mod done and fitted a MXG deep carry clip, now it is spot on.
Just picked up a Stretch 2 and it is very quickly starting to replace the GB2 as my favourite.

GB2 is an excellent choice! It is really underrated, which is a shame.

my favorite spyderco is kapara. gayle bradley would be great if they shaved some weight.
