How do Green Lantern Rings work?

It would be really hard for someone to stay in one state of mind for the rest of their lives just to posses the power of a certain ring.

I’m still confused as to what exactly the power set is. A green lantern ring can make physical constricts of what the wearer imagines, right? But what exactly are the limitations here? Is there any references to how far away from the ring the constructs can be, how big/small they can get, how complex? Like if Hal imagines a computer, will it simply work like a computer or does he have to imagine every single transistor in the computer and how it operates, making it impossible for a human mind to do so? What if Hal wanted to go all biowarefare, just imagine a super virus inside his enemy, will it appear there and make the cells of his enemy start to produce copies of the virus with real matter, causing basically an apocalypse just by thinking of it? What if he thought of antimatter, will it appear, annihalite with real matter and super nuke the place? Feels like the green lantern ring is super OP but the characters basically only use it as a stick in the comics?

Considering that are already 7 Lantern Corps for the color spectrum and there are even Black Lanterns and White Lanterns then it would be fun to include more Lantern Corps such as the Clear Lanterns, Brown Lanterns, Grey Lanterns, Blue-green Lanterns, Yellow-Orange Lanterns, Blue-Violet Lanterns, Blue-Green Lanterns, Red-Orange Lanterns, Red-Violet Lanterns and Yellow-Green Lanterns.

I only add an intermediate series of Lantern Corps because there is already a series of Primary and Secondary Color Lantern Corps so to round it out might as well put a third layer of Intermediate Color Corps and considering they mentioned Indigo.

This would of course not include any Infrared, Ultraviolet or Gamma ray Lantern Corps or Lantern corps based on other forces than the EM Spectrum.

Just have a bit of constructive criticism. Your opening/closing bits feel a bit stale hearing them time in time out. Especially the "what I hope you'll understand at the end of this" bit. Everything in the middle is wonderful though!! Keep up the good work. I'm learning (and understanding ;) ) a lot!!
