What bugs me is how outside of the comics is that never treat the green lantern ring with the respect it deserves. It's one of the most powerful weapons in the universe for a reason. Hell even Zod was afraid of fighting some green lanterns he knows there not to be trifled with

I always hated when the ring just gets taken off the finger. Past events would just have Hal will the ring back to him

The Green Lantern and Sinestro plot points in the Injustice comics are some of my absolute favorites for the characters.

The fact that they were cut out entirely in this movie is one of the most unforgivable choices they could’ve made. Many have said it before and many will still say it but this should have been a multi part film series or a TV show.

Green lantern was very lucky because Superman saved him from falling and did not let him die

Ugh, ever since the New 52 they just constantly screw up GL. You can't remove a GL's ring like that. Instead of coming up with proper ways to neutralize the ring, they just go with the lazy writing. If it were that easy, each green lantern wouldn't have been able to guard a whole bloody space sector by themselves

This is a very interesting scene, in the comics, before the Emerald Twilight event, lost his home city, the whole thing got wiped out of the map and Hal went insane, he tried to recreate it using his ring, and when the guardians tried to stop him from abusing the power he went on a rampage against the Green Lantern Corp. If someone can relate to what Superman went in this moment is Hal Jordan.

Seeing this, the Lego Movie 1 and 2 makes a bit sense now. Kinda. Maybe not.

I get that Supes has superior speed and reflexes to Green Lanterns but still him being able to remove the ring should not have happened now him creating a distraction for Hal and then sucker punching him to knock him out for a few hours would make more in the head yeah.
