Green Lanterns Aren't Stronger Than Blue Lanterns😱

I always liked the philosophy behind the Blue Lanterns' power level. Basically, Hope IS the most powerful force in the universe, but without the will to enact that hope, it's just wishful thinking.

In my personal opinion, the most powerful lantern is one who embraces and wields two powers of the spectrum. For example, in that episode of YOUNG JUSTICE, Razor was a Red Lantern full of rage but then tried being a Blue Lantern to purge himself of that rage and find redemption. Then one thing led to another and he embraced and accepted both the rage and hope as part of himself, becoming the first Red/Blue Lantern who wielded two of the spectrums at once. Each Lantern corps is strong in one way and weak in another. But when you take two of the colors that are the opposite of each other and find a way to balance them into your being then you will wield power greater than one can ever know.

Y’all just read the Geoff Johns saga (Green Lantern: Rebirth to Green Lantern: The End [New 52 Vol 3]) and you’ll be happy. It has the whole blackest night, brightest day, war of the green lanterns etc storyline, and he’s honestly the best person to ever work on GL.

the lanterns corps are one the things Marvel didn't come even close to compete. I though Gaurdian of the Galaxy was the respond to Green Lantern, but apparently it just Space Cabbie.

The limitations on Blue Lanterns have changed over time. Originally, blue lanterns couldn't do anything without a green nearby. Later, it was changed so that they just can't make offense-based constructs. We also have some blue lanterns who don't have the limitation at all.

Woah this is kinda a lot to take in, I was only aware of green lanterns bcoz of justice league, now knowing there are others is kinda mind blowing please could you do a longer video explaining the different varieties would be greatly appreciated

Green- Heart, Blue- The Truth. Makes sense why a Blue needs a green by him to fight. Provides better judgement idk how it works in the comic but spiritually that makes sense

Blue lanterns and green lanterns complement each other. Giving each other way. Boosted power but yeah, orange, yellow and red lanterns power gets drained by the blue ring is because hope that's the power source is in conflict with anger, greed and fear. Which of the power source for the other rings draining them of those emotions by providing them with hope when they're in their presents weakening their power but in razor's case he ends up with the hope ring and the rage ring despite them being indirect conflict is able to use both
