Eddie just gave himself a performance review and PIPed himself, you can take the guy out of corporate but you can’t take the corporate out of the guy. Happy to see you continuing on!

Maybe you could up your game a little here and there, recognisability(intro, sounds etc), structure(show of design, 0-60 etc), every big channel has it, camera work could be better, sometimes I like to let a new model sink in longer, you always have the data, in depth, but it is also a lot, you Chael Sonnen ramble here and there and I drift off sometimes, maybe tighten it up a bit, writing scripts... maybe even the overall video length... When I subscribed you were this casual yet hyper knowledgeable car guy with a hobby YouTube channel, now you went pro so your game has to become pro too, you know? Do what all the big channels do, just give it your own style.... Just some constructive criticism, would like to see you succeed.

Rooting for you Eddie!!! Your time is your most valuable asset! Good for you for following your passion! As a long time friend and sometimes viewer, I always try to show your channel to people who I know who love cars!

I’ve been watching you since the early vehicle virgin days, love to see you still in here. Hope it works out!

Hope GM still lets you review their cars.

Jesus Christ this is the best video I’ve ever seen! As an entrepreneur, real estate agent, and some YouTube, you are 1000% right. It’s so easy to achieve motivation and not discouraged. Just keep going bro. It’s working even when you don’t see it.

OMG best video ever! Yes continue the car reviews, that's what I love! I left vehicle virgins when he left car reviews behind and just blogged about his privilege lifestyle. I hate bloggers but the only one I watch is The Stradman because of his humility and honesty. So yes, I'd definitely watch your blog, as long as it gave an honest, non glamorized view into a YouTuber's daily life, including your struggles, just as you have done in this video. Authenticity is rare and desperately needed in our digital age, and if u wanna blog being 100% real, you and stradman would have a corner and a huge advantage on all other car bloggers. More contents like this: count me in! Love from Puerto Rico!

I wish I could help you dude. Materialistic things never last because when your values and priorities change, your views on objects change. The one thing that is harder to replace are good people in your life. That's the passion. Not just the cars. This is why you need to see youtube this same way. People go on youtube to escape and need entertainment and happiness. And they build this parasocial connection. And it gets even stronger when you meet and greet fans. THIS builds growth. So adding things like this and excitement to your channel will change everything. Plus have a brand on the side that can be worth exiting in the long run.

Eddie…..been following you for several months now and I truly enjoy your content. Big time props to you for taking YT on full time, I can only imagine how stressful it may be. That being said, your content is awesome. You’re very genuine and that goes a long way man. I love anything automotive so you’re in my wheelhouse. Keep grinding, you’ve got what it takes to be successful in the social media world. Personally, I don’t think that 6 months is long enough to determine success or failure. Give it a year and then look back at your work. I wish you the best in all that you do, and ask for one favor. More Z06 content baby….C8 owner myself.

You’re in your late 20’s. When I was your age, I had that same mindset as you. Wanting to be my own boss, wanting to do whatever I want, traveling anywhere, eating anywhere. But you’ll soon realize that all the “fun” money could’ve been saved for assets instead of liabilities. Becoming a successful YouTuber is extremely hard because there will always be new creators coming about stealing your shine. There are people with millions of subscribers who barely get any views. It’s very important that if you decide to take such a big risk, you have 2 years worth of expenses saved up. Going on expensive trips like a cruise or a trip to Japan may seem like a good idea, but those expenses are going to hurt you. I can appreciate your enthusiasm, but at the end of the day, you have to work as much as you can to make as much as you can. There’s nothing wrong with doing things the old-fashioned way. Good luck to you Eddie. Don’t ever feel too proud to go back to your job.

As you explain so nicely, Youtube is challenging and takes persistence. People seem to respond well to drag racing, performance reviews, and shennanigans

I'll watch what ever you make. I've always liked and respected you and enjoy your content.

Eddie. I offer a different view. You sir are a mechanical engineer. That is where I BELIEVE your passion is.
Find a way to connect both worlds
From a fellow engineer.
Cheers

As soon who works a 9-5 and hope to one day have a successful brand doing content creation full time. This was an amazing video and you drop a bunch of truth in this video. Not everyone can do this. It all starts with a mindset. Love to watch your journey to come.

Great honest video. The discouraging feeling is absolutely tough to get over in all challenges.

Surrounding yourself with people who push and motivate you is a big help.

Keep going bro, you become what you repeatedly do! Discouragement, uncertainty and doubt are right around the corner from success!

Holy shit, out of curiosity because of this update I checked on Vehicle Virgins. You're doing the same views with less than a tenths of the sub count. His views are abysmal for 2.5 million subs. You're gonna do just fine. Keep it up.
