I wish you'd credit the animation in the description, it's such an unappreciated work of art. Minha Kim, Sea child by the way.

I can't quite pinpoint what feeling this is, but it's strong

This film fits so perfect to this song, almost like it was designed to be it's original video. You don't even need the dialogue to understand the film well enough.

I swear this song heals me from all the shit I've been through in my f*cked up life. I listen to this when I feel hopeless. Radiohead its like a hug from a friend conforting you

That song save my life, i was going thru the most gloomy period of my life in the beginning of 2022, and when i was about to jump into the oncoming subway train, this started to play on my spotify. I was always a fan of radiohead, and was familiar with this song, but this just added an extra layer in my admiration with them. Today i am alive and well, not 100%, but the dark thoughts haeve gone away for good. I have tattooed an eel in my arm, to represent this song and all the meaning this have in my life ♥️

I think I saw this marvelous piece of art deleted just after I watched for the first time. Thanks for sharing it again!

As someone said on the original upload, "No offense to the real Weird Fishes video, but this should've been the Weird Fishes music video."

The video along with the song is quite endearing and strong, the loss of innocence as you dive deeper and deeper looking for something until you hit rock bottom...

A young girl, disturbed by the grotesqueness of the world, reaches a level of awareness for which she no longer can ignore it. She feels imprisoned by life, not something she chose to be a participant in but, nonetheless, feels a responsibility toward. She sees very deeply, the incongruous parallels in existence that adults spend a lifetime of conditioning just to accept: the horrors neglected and systematically hidden by unidimensional perspective. She sees the fish in herself and is sickened by the animalistic nature to consume without regard. She realizes its everywhere: the ubiquitous dynamic of predator and prey waiting around every corner and concludes the only way out is through. She submits to the world and sacrifices her innocence for peace, whether that would result in total annihilation or irreversible corruption. She jumps into the deep end with nothing to loose only to be confronted, consumed, and ultimately transformed into all that she had feared, just to bear the burden, just to stomach it all, just to survive.

Sabes que es una obra de arte cuando no hay palabras para explicarlo pero sientes el collage sensorial en tu cerebro. <3
