In 2007, when this came out, my father was in palliative care. I spent many nights with him as he neared the end of this life. When he was asleep, I often listened to this album and especially this song. It soothed and comforted me and let me escape. Strong family support and this music got me through that time. Thanks, Radiohead.

The only band that makes me want to cry and dance at the same time

I love this song's structure... it progressively crecendos and it feels like you're being sucked down by a tumultuous whirlpool until "we get eaten by the worms" and you're underwater, out of the chaos.

amazing

Jonny is dressed like he's about to meet his girl's parents for the first time.

Those few plunks of the guitar in the beginning of the song always gives me tickle, because I know that my mind will be taking a wonderful ride.

I love how Thom couldn't resist and had to sing with Ed at 2:28

I feel like Radiohead found me at the perfect moment, since I was like 12 (now 26) i knew about Radiohead but didn't really listen to them until i was like 18. I feel like Radiohead knew when to hit me, and from that moment stick with me onwards.

You can tell they love this. Colin and Phil are making weird faces, Thom can't resist but sing with Ed... Jesus I love this band more than anything

After knowing my favourite band of all time were Radiohead. My Mum broke to me this week that her best friend from school, Hugo Nicholson was the producer on In Rainbows. Cheers for letting me know sooner Mum.

Everyone in this video is in a flow state. This is the purest form of music. Complete surrender to the emotion and enjoyment. Not to mention it is rehearsed so well and everyone is executing their role to perfection.

At the age of 16, I think I’ve reached my “Radiohead Moment” as people are speaking about. I’m not one that listens to lyrics much, as a musician I much prefer to listen to the melodies and harmonies of the music, and while a lot of people listen to Radiohead because of their touching lyrics, I personally love the way their music sounds and how the band works with each other and I think some of their work is truly beautiful from a musical standpoint, this song being one of them, hell, the entirety of In Rainbows is just a masterpiece in my opinion. I’ve known of these guys my whole life but never really sat down and listened to them but this week I’ve been obsessed, listening to each album through on the bus or when playing games or whatever. This might be one of my favourite bands of all time. Thanks for reading if you did :)

What i like about Radiohead is that the vocals in the song compliment the song in general instead of overpowering it. The song does not rely on the vocals like most songs today. I think that illustrates the quality of the instrumentals performed by this band. Dont get me wrong though, Yorke is a great singer.
