Wow, what an exhilarating ride through the world of food production! It's fascinating how so many moving parts come together to create culinary experiences, whether it's aboard a cruise ship, within a Super Bowl stadium, or even in a quarantined NBA bubble. It’s a whirlwind that makes me marvel at the complexity of the food industry and how far it goes beyond just cooking — it's logistics, science, and, as we've seen, some down-and-dirty work in the case of salt and cricket farming!

I like the NBA story the best. Chef Lex Grant & Co. know their stuff and charge for it too. Once you get good at food prep you can deliver 200, 300, 500 meals a day. Leadership, organization, team members and suppliers get the job done. In the end, like the saying goes, you're only as good as your last job.
