Who do you think is the BEST DOTM figure?

Dotm was such a unique toyline, after the 2007 toyline, the figures were unique and fun to play, we should probably get a retro version of the dotm movie like the headmasters retro toyline

Still to this day I’d say that Leader class DOTM Optimus is the greatest figure Hasbro has ever released. He’s is incredibly accurate, he comes with basically every single weapon he used in the film, comes with not only just the jet pack but it can transform into the trailer (which looks amazing), as well as actually giving you the most bang for your Buck. Hasbro actually made it worth paying a leader price point for a voyager figure by giving us amazing accessories and really not cheeping out.

I think Sentinel Prime is the best. Both modes are great.

Anyone else notice how AOE Optimus’ design is similar to Sentinel? Almost like Optimus took up the mantel of his former Hero.

Fun facts:
1. the originally in 2011 we were supone to get a leader class megatron and shockwave (heard Soundwave as well) but it got cancelled after hasbro lied to the news about existing prototypes until now
2. Sentinel is one of the rarely few bots in the line to scale like the original figured

I’ve got the SS DOTM Shockwave and I 100% agree with everything you said about him. He looks like he was ripped straight out of the movie and I can forgive the tank mode since he didn’t transform in the movie, but the robot is pure perfection.

Dark of the moon has such a phenomenal soundtrack. Such great scenes as well, for example the scene where both optimus and sentinel reminisce about their days on cybertron when they're in africa

They need to make a RoTF Ratchet for Voyager class that can give him the weapons and paint apps he deserves. Even the premium finish version while an improvement doesn't seem enough when compared to what Hasbro can do with Shockwave/Megs/Soundwave etc.

It’s such a shame that we haven’t gotten SS DOTM Devcon yet.

DOTM was the first Transformers movie I watched and I loved everything about it, the toy line, the design of the transformers and I’m so glad that we’ve gotten some DOTM characters that I’ve wanted as a kid such as Leadfoot, a weaponized roadbuster, leader class Megatron and more. I still think DOTM is one of the best from the bayverse next to the 2007 transformers

I remember always wanting Sentinel, he was by far my favorite DOTM character, but I looked up the heights and didn't understand complexity factoring into pricing so I didn't think he was worth the voyager price for a slightly taller deluxe....so I missed him until now he's out of print and jacked up way high everywhere.

no matter, I got the Original Venerable one, which is one of my most prized figures in my collection, which I only jumped on for certain thanks to your review of him.

Always annoys me how badly the Dreads are as SS figures, I adore their design. Frankly waiting for a proper 3rd party figure

I don’t mind that Thundercracker didn’t showed up in the bayfilms. It is still a great figure by itself and I don’t even mind about the backpack, it is an original design and accurate to Nitro Zeus’ backpack so it’s A-Okay.

When I was a kid and I was bored, I would race my transformers and pretend I was playing Burnout. Crashing them, losing parts mid race. Man I need to do that again lmao
