3 Sweet Easter Treats ⬇️ SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS RECIPES BELOW ⬇️ Are you beyond bored with the same ol' Easter eggs and store-bought chocolate bunnies you see every year? We feel you, we see you, and we hear you. Sure, there's a certain sense of nostalgia attached to the classics, but you've got to switch things up every once in a while, right? So we've gone above and beyond the call of duty and managed to come up with 3 sweet Easter treats, the likes of which you've never seen before!

******************************************************

1. Chocolate Easter Egg Piñatas

You'll Need:

- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- melted white chocolate
- melted milk chocolate
- Easter M&M's

Here's How:

1.1 Wrap the eggs in plastic wrap and seal each one with a piece of tape.

1.2 Dip the plastic-wrapped eggs halfway in the melted white chocolate and let the chocolate set.

1.3 Dip the white chocolate-coated, plastic-wrapped eggs halfway in the melted milk chocolate and let the chocolate set.

1.4 Remove the plastic wrap and eggs from the chocolate egg halves, place them on a glass with the opening facing up, and fill 3 of the egg halves with Easter M&M's.

1.5 Heat a knife with a lighter, run it over the edges of the empty egg halves, and glue them to the egg halves filled with M&M's. Now all you have to do to enjoy your chocolate Easter egg piñatas is smash them open!

2. Easter Rice Krispies Pops

You'll Need:

- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp butter
- ½ package (5 oz) marshmallows
- 3 cups rice Krispies cereal
- Easter cookie cutters
- cake pop sticks
- melted chocolate in different colors
- sprinkles

Here's How:

2.1 Melt the marshmallows and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave and stir the mixture until well combined.

2.2 Add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until combined.

2.3 Line a 6 x 9-inch baking tray with parchment paper and spread the Rice Krispies mixture on it. Feel free to use parchment paper and a rolling pin to make sure everything is evenly distributed.

2.4 Brush vegetable oil over the Easter-themed cookie cutters and cut out the desired shapes from the Rice Krispies mass.

2.5 Insert cake pop sticks in the cut-out shapes and allow them to harden. Try dipping the cake pop sticks into melted chocolate beforehand to make them stick better.

2.6 Dip the Easter pops in melted chocolate and decorate them with sprinkles.

3. Jello Easter Eggs

You'll Need:

- 6 large eggs
- ¼ box blue jello + ½ cup water + 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ box green jello + ½ cup water + 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ box yellow jello + ½ cup water + 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ box red jello + ½ cup water + 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp plain yogurt, divided

Here's How:

3.1 Score the thicker part of the eggs with a sharp, small knife and carefully poke a small hole in the shell. Puncture the egg skin with a toothpick and use it to whisk the egg. Let the whisked egg flow out of the hole, and once the eggs are empty, place the shells in a pot of water, bring to a boil, remove the eggshells, and let them dry.

3.2 Mix each jello powder color with the sugar and hot water. Divide each color between 2 bowls and add 1 tbsp of plain yogurt to one of the blue bowls, 1 tbsp of plain yogurt to one of the green bowls, 1 tbsp of plain yogurt to one of the yellow bowls, and 1 tbsp of plain yogurt to one of the red bowls.

3.3 Place the dried eggshells in a carton with the hole facing up.

3.4 Fill a syringe with the blue jello, inject the first layer in the eggshells, and refrigerate. Once the blue jello has set, add a layer of the blue yogurt jello and refrigerate again. Continue layering (green jello, green yogurt jello, yellow jello, yellow yogurt jello, red jello, red yogurt jello) until the eggs are full, making sure to refrigerate the eggshells after each layer. Let the final jello eggs set overnight.

It's already Autumn but we're still having hot and sunny days here in Brazil...I found
that last recipe great... maybe I'm gonna serve the eggs over cream made by condensed milk and some fruits...

i love these ideas!! i wanted to check and see if anyone has tried them themselves but i guess it's a bit too early still.
i did 1 and 3 and i'd just like to share some of my suggestions :)
with the chocolate pinatas, use at least one additional egg / mold for what you need! i ended up breaking a few chocolate shells when i was trying to peel them off the plastic wrapped egg. if you do break a chocolate shell, don't worry!! heat up the broken sides and stick them back together. it'll look weird but then i just melted more chocolate and drizzled it in to fix the cracks. a little extra chocolate won't hurt. try to give an even amount of chocolate coats so it'll look nicer when it comes together (unlike mine!). so since my shells were uneven, i concealed the cracks with food-colored melted chocolate once again. inbetween coating the chocolate layers i stuck the egg in the freezer on a rack chocolate side up, it only needs a couple seconds. although i didnt do this, i'll also suggest marking your egg/mold a half way line around it. then you can carefully trim out extra chocolate around the mold so it wont be too difficult to take out.
for the jello eggs, i didnt add any sugar, 4tbs seems like a lot for jello! ok so i would split the powders once more for the combination of jello / yogurt jello layers before adding the water. my best advice is to have a bowl and use double or more amount of jello you're using on the eggs to the bowl so you can gage when the jello in the egg settles. and once the yogurt has been divided among the eggs, add the rest to your bowl and refrigerate at the same time. once the layer in your bowl is ready, so should your eggs be!

thanks for the video!

Loved your ideas on how to cut down on price, I also liked how you used the jello for different colors in place of food coloring. 😋🙌🏽💕💕💕💕💕
