The Four Boxes Diner serves up hot, fresh Second Amendment news and analysis. You’ll get the inside scoop from constitutional attorney Mark W. Smith, a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar, a professor, a frequent Fox News guest, and a New York Times bestselling author. Mark's books include The Official Handbook of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, First They Came for the Gun Owners, and Duped: How the Anti-gun Lobby Exploits the Parkland School Shooting, and How Gun Owners Can Fight Back. Mark’s scholarship has been used by lawyers before the U.S. and his work has been quoted by a federal judge (Roger Benitez) in declaring California’s so-called “assault weapon” ban to be unconstitutional under the Second Amendment.

To defend your liberty, you need to understand the “four boxes” of American liberty: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the ammunition box. We give you the information you need, and we hope to serve as your source for Bill of Rights news and analysis.

I am 83. The first gun I ever bought was at age 18, a Webley .38 from Ye Olde Western Hunter, shipped to my door. I have watched our gun rights being eroded over the past 65 years, and I'm tired of it. SCOTUS, do your job and stop this bullcrap...preserve our😊 2A rights!!!

Minneapolis resident here. In 2021, car jacking were so bad that the Minneapolis PD asked it's CCW holders to have their tools out and ready to use at all times while driving. Well, do not 18 to 20 yo's also drive and deserve equal protection under the law?

We need the “high capacity” magazine ban to be heard by the Supreme Court.

Want to carry? Got a permit? Want to speak in public. Got a permit? If this goes on you'll need a permit to go to church, and of course, don't forget the tax, for the permit. They're Rights!

IMHO, Justice Roberts should increase the number of cases SCOTUS takes in the 2025 Session to stave off the radical, unconstitutional positions taken several States, primarily on the Left Coast. AWB, magazine capacity, CC Reciprocity all come to mind.

If the SCOTUS does not grant cert does the current ruling stand as decided?

We need a hardware ban case. Awb is the most important thing SCOTUS can take, period.

My prediction is that they will grant one more case and hold the rest all term and gvr them at the end dragging the fight ever onward.

So we SHOULD have 18-20 case and AR case before SCOTUS.

They need to issue more Per Curium & GVR decisions where it is clear that lower courts are misreading Heller, Miler, Caetano, and Bruen.

The 8th Circuit rejection is good. If SCOTUS decides to deny cert that is acceptable as it leaves the 8th Circuit ruling standing. Then if 1st or 9th Circuit decides 8th is wrong SCOTUS will be pressured in a year or so to take it up.
