I changed my rear breaks on my 2016 Mazda 6. We did not know you had to put it in maintenance mode to do so. Well my car won’t start ignition won’t come on my parking break is on and can’t get it off. Noting works.

Tried every method on every single video and did not work. Took it to Mazda for a diagnostic and it was a bad motor at the rear caliper. It was code P064A and P0471 related to the same issue. Mazda charged like $800 to fix it.

Don’t twist the calipers in, just push them in .
